Industrial Electricians install, test, and repair the electrical systems that keep factories and industrial facilities running. They work with equipment such as motors, control panels, transformers, and generators to ensure everything operates safely and efficiently. Experts in troubleshooting and maintaining complex systems used in manufacturing, processing, and production plants, Industrial Electricians help prevent downtime and keep power systems reliable.

Responsibilities

  • Read and understand blueprints and electrical drawings
  • Install and repair wiring, conduits, outlets, lighting, and control panels
  • Test systems for voltage, resistance, and current to find and fix problems
  • Maintain and service transformers, switchboards, and regulators
  • Install and troubleshoot motors, batteries, and generators
  • Diagnose issues with industrial control systems and automated equipment
  • Perform regular maintenance and keep accurate service records
  • Follow safety standards and ensuring all work meets code requirements
