Restoration Stone Masons construct, restore, and repair structures made of natural or manufactured stone. They work on buildings, monuments, walls, and other stone features. Their tasks include cutting, shaping, and setting stone, as well as matching materials to existing structures.

Responsibilities

  • Restore and repair stone structures and features
  • Cut, shape, and fit stone using hand and power tools
  • Match new stone with existing materials
  • Apply mortar and finishes for durability and appearance
  • Follow restoration plans and preservation standards
