Sheet metal workers design, create, assemble, install and repair sheet metal products, including heating, venting and air conditioning systems, pollution control systems and other metal structures. They work indoors and outdoors, on construction sites and in shops.

Responsibilities
- Build and install products such as eavestroughs, air and heat ducts, roof decking and sheet metal buildings.
- Lay out, measure and mark sheet metal.
- Work with computerized equipment to cut, bend or straighten sheet metal.
- Fasten metal seams and use welding equipment to join sheets of metal.
- Polish seams, joints and rough surfaces.
- Read and interpret sketches and work specifications.

Hourly Pay
Salary Range: $40.32 – $42.16/hr (based on 2023 collective agreement Journeyperson hourly rate)
